The UC Haiti Initiative at UC Irvine is driven by students, faculty, researchers and affiliates who are interested in applying their academic resources to search and apply real solutions to the poverty created and perpetuated by the earthquake that devastated Haiti in January 2010.
The UCI chapter further connects faculty and students from the UC campus and UEH to an overarching collaborative goal of sustainable projects. Currently, the chapter is focusing on identifying and implementing specific projects with key faculty and student involvement. The chapter aids in supporting the ongoing efforts and shared vision of future growth and development for the Haitian community.
We invite you to learn how you can get involved in our cause, increase awareness, and develop partnerships for Haiti. Please contact uci.director@uchaiti.org for any questions or comments.
